Near to a million of fans demand tickets to “invade” Al Marikh stadium in Khartoum

The Algerian governors have forwarded a list comprising almost 2 millions fans that requested a flight ticket to move to the Sudanese capital city Khartoum in order stand by the Algeria squad in the play off match versus Egypt next Wednesday.

  •
  • In a declaration to “Echourok”, the Algerian Airline Company’s general manager Wahid Bouabdellah has indicated that “Air Algérie” has received 1 million and 730 thousands requests from different corners of the country, but the demand is out of reach of the company’s capacities that do not exceed 4 thousands tickets which correspond to the number of places allocated by the Sudanese authorities to the Algerian fans at the stadium.
  •
  • M Bouabdellah has asserted that the departures were scheduled from the airport of Constantine (eastern Algeria) and the one of Algiers where two airways linking Sudan were opened exceptionally for the event. Air Algérie has scheduled 30 round flights.
  •
  • He also declared that his company refused to allocate special flights for some provinces to avoid discriminating other regions of the country, but said that “the company is ready to allocate a special flight for some institutions that express the will to organize charters provided that the departure will be from Algiers”.
  •
  • It should be noted that tens of thousands of youngsters rushed to the local administrations all over the country to issue or renew their passports.
